Orders

When am I charged?

When you place your order, including for pre-orders.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, any time before it ships. Email support@pansuara.com with your order number and we’ll change the details or refund you in full.

Do I need an account to buy?

No. You can check out as a guest. An account is optional; it keeps your orders and tracking in one place.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, plus the express payment options shown at checkout. Your card statement will show SP PANSUARA.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free on every order to the United States.

When will my order ship?

This is a pre-order: boards ship in December, first come, first served, so the earlier you order, the earlier your board goes out. We email you a tracking link the day yours ships, and you can write to us any time for an update. See Shipping & delivery.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. We ship to the 50 states and Washington, D.C. only for now.

How do I track my order?

We email a tracking link the day your order ships. If you have an account, your orders and their tracking are also there.

Returns & warranty

What’s your return policy?

30 days from delivery, for a full refund and no restocking fee. Normal kitchen use is fine. You pay the return shipping unless the board arrived damaged or has a defect. See Returns & refunds.

Is the board guaranteed?

Yes. Every board comes with our Limited Lifetime Warranty: if it cracks, splits or comes apart from normal home use and care, we repair, replace or refund it for as long as you own it. See the warranty terms for what’s covered.

What if it arrives damaged?

Email photos of the board and the box to support@pansuara.com within 7 days of delivery. We email you a prepaid return label, and once the board reaches us we replace it or refund it.

Care

How do I look after my board?

Hand-wash with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry it standing up. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Oil it whenever it starts to look dry or pale.

How often should I oil it?

Weekly for the first month, then about once a month, or whenever the wood looks thirsty. Any food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner works.

Can I sand or refinish it?

Yes. A light sand with fine sandpaper and a fresh coat of oil brings a tired board back. Teak is made to be refinished, not thrown away.

The boards

Where does the teak come from?

From our own farm in Darién, Panama. Our companies grow the teak, mill it and finish every board.

What sizes are there?

Small, Standard and Large, all made the same way. Exact dimensions are on the product page.

Is teak good for a cutting board?

Yes. Teak is dense and naturally rich in oils, so it resists water and stays stable. With a little care it handles daily kitchen use for many years.
