Terms of service

Effective October 31, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pansuara.com and any purchase you make from it. The website and store are operated by Teak Craft Solutions USA L.L.P., a Wyoming limited liability partnership doing business as Pansuara ("Pansuara", "we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Pansuara sells products made from teak grown, milled and finished by our affiliated companies in Darién, Panama. Orders are sold and invoiced by Teak Craft Solutions USA L.L.P. and shipped from our fulfillment center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Your card statement will show SP PANSUARA.

2. Other policies that apply

These Terms include, by reference, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and the Limited Lifetime Warranty. If these Terms conflict with one of those documents on its own subject, that document applies.

3. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. We sell to consumers for personal, household use and ship only to addresses in the United States. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear to be for resale, placed through a freight forwarder, or fraudulent.

4. Products and descriptions

Each board is made from natural wood. Grain, color, figure, and small natural marks vary from board to board and from the photos on the site, and teak's color changes with age and oil. These variations are part of the material and are not defects. Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly. We try to describe every product accurately; if an item is not as described, you may return it under our Refund Policy, without limiting your rights under our Limited Lifetime Warranty or applicable law.

5. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. The total you pay, including any sales tax that applies and shipping, is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order, including for pre-orders. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other providers shown at checkout; we never see or store your full card number. We may change prices at any time, but a change won't affect an order you have already paid for.

6. Orders, acceptance and errors

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it or send you a shipping confirmation. The order confirmation email confirms that we received your order; it is not acceptance. We may limit quantities, and we may refuse or cancel any order, including after it is placed, for example if an item is unavailable, if a price or description was shown in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we refund the full amount you paid.

7. Pre-orders

The First Cutting is sold as a pre-order: the boards are sold before they are in stock and ship in December, first come, first served, in the order orders are placed. Our Shipping Policy explains what happens if an order is delayed. You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships.

8. Promotions and offers

Offers and promotions apply only as described in their terms, can't be exchanged for cash, can't be applied to past orders, and may end at any time. Unless stated otherwise, offers can't be combined. If you return part of an order that had a multi-board offer, we refund what you paid for the board you return.

9. Shipping, risk and title

Shipping is described in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when your order is delivered to the shipping address you gave us.

10. Returns and warranty

You may return products within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. Defects in materials and workmanship are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, which is the only express warranty we give on our products. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under that warranty or under applicable consumer law.

11. Product use and care

Use and care for your board as described on the product page and in our FAQ: hand-wash, dry standing up, never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking, keep it away from heat and flame, and oil it regularly with a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner. Cutting boards are for food preparation and serving; keep children supervised around knives.

12. Your account

An account is never required to buy. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are provided through Shopify.

13. Reviews and other content you send us

If you submit a review, photo, comment or idea, you confirm that it is your own, honest and lawful, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit for length, display and share it, with your first name and last initial, in connection with Pansuara. We don't pay for reviews and we don't remove reviews because they are negative; we may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, off-topic, contains personal information, or is not about our products.

14. Using the site

You may use the site only for lawful, personal shopping purposes. You must not misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, introducing malicious code, scraping it with automated tools, or using it to send spam.

15. Intellectual property

The Pansuara name and logo, and the site's text, photography, video and design, belong to Teak Craft Solutions USA L.L.P., its affiliates or its licensors. You may not copy or use them without our written permission, except to view the site and share links to it.

16. Links to other sites

The site links to sites we don't control, such as social networks and certification bodies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

17. Disclaimer

Apart from the Limited Lifetime Warranty on our products and any rights you have that can't be excluded by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pansuara and its partners, affiliates, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or any product. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product or order. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pansuara and its affiliates from claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please contact us at support@pansuara.com so we can try to resolve it; most problems are settled that way. Either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. Otherwise, claims will be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction over the claim. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of the state where you live.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order. The "Effective" date above shows when they last changed.

22. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or a buyer of our business. These Terms, with the policies they include, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and your purchases.
