Why teak

Boatbuilders picked teak for a reason. So did we.

It spent centuries on ship decks, out in salt water and sun. Your sink is no match.

Shrugs off water

Teak's own natural oils push water away, wash after wash.

Ready for humid kitchens

Kiln-dried at our mill before it's ever shaped, so it stays flat on the counter.

Tough by nature

Natural silica helps teak wear hard, day after day. Knife marks aren't damage. They're proof dinner happened.

Gets better with age

The color deepens and warms the more you use it. Yours will never look quite like anyone else's.

Good questions

Before you choose.

When will my board ship?

This is a pre-order. Boards ship in December, first come, first served, so the earlier you order, the earlier yours goes out. We email you a tracking link the day it ships. Shipping & delivery.

Which size should I get?

Cooking for one or two: Small. Dinner for four most nights: Standard. Hosting, carving or feeding a crowd: Large. Can't decide? Buy any two boards and take 10% off your order.

Will it hold up in a humid kitchen?

Every board is kiln-dried at our mill in Darién before it's shaped, and teak's natural oils help it shrug off water. Dry it standing up after washing and it stays flat.

What's the finish? Is it food-safe?

Every board leaves our workshop with an all-natural, food-safe finish.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes. Your board will arrive protected to a level you would expect from a product of this quality and pedigree.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every board is covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as you own it: if it cracks, splits or comes apart from normal home use and care, we repair, replace or refund it. See what’s covered.

What if it's not right for me?

Send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Use it first if you like. There’s no restocking fee. Return shipping is at your cost unless the board arrived damaged or has a defect. How returns work.
